18 days separate us from the dates of the world’s major sporting events and for the first time in the Arab region, the State of Qatar will host the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

In this case announced Visa, the financial services giant and FIFA’s official payment partner for the upcoming FIFA World Cup in Qatar, has announced the launch of the FIFA World Cup Qatar (NFT) auction ahead of the event.

According to Visa, the NFT tokens are inspired by unique goals from 5 football legends, namely:

• Jared Borghetti.
• Tim Cahill.
• Carly Lloyd.
• Michael Ann.
• Maxi Rodriguez.

The moves of these football stars have been transferred to NFT by the award-winning XK Studio, and as revealed, bidding on NFT has opened on Crypto.com, the cryptocurrency exchange’s official partner of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Collectors who submit a winning bid for the “Masters of the Movement NFT” will receive the artwork in their digital wallets on their Crypto.com trading platform along with a high-quality printable file, Visa said.

The NFT is signed by premium footballers, adding to the authenticity of the NFT.

In addition to partnerships with Visa and Crypto.com, FIFA has an active partnership with PoS-powered blockchain protocol Algorand.

The pre-event NFT auction is a sequel to the live FIFA Fan Fest in Doha.

By its design, fans will be able to create their own Masters of the Movement, some of which will be printed as NFTs to celebrate the history of the make.
