Mark Cuban-Owned Crypto Wallet Aptos Launches $3 Million Value – Bitcoin

A $3 million Optos-directed investment fund has been unveiled by Mark Cuban-backed Blockto, a multi-network portfolio company aimed at helping recruit new Optos users.

The Optos Fund is used to support exceptional ideas and provide financial support for projects.

Hswan Lee, co-founder and CEO of Blocto, commented on his company’s integration with Aptos:

We were looking for promising blockchain systems with long-term potential, and Aptos caught our attention.

The project aims to make blockchain more accessible to common users, which is a big focus for us at Blokto, and it has gained a lot of momentum in the development community even in the current market situation.

Only a select few Optos teams will have access to Blocto’s internal and external investor base and financial market support, the statement noted.

According to Mo Sheikh, co-founder and CEO of Aptos, Blockto’s merger with the Aptos ecosystem will enhance this environment for the community.

Commenting on the investment and partnership launch, Lee continued by saying:

Many of the Blocto team have been working in the Web 3.0 industry for several years now.

We know this bear market is an excellent time to build and improve products in preparation for the next wave of cryptocurrency adoption.

Historically, the continued development of these projects during downturns has had a greater impact when sentiment reversed.

The introduction of the fund comes after Blocto’s recent merger with Aptos, which resulted in over 300,000 people creating an Aptos wallet in the first week.
