Alternative bat
Elements of the alternate bat:
Point B at 0.382 max (-3% tolerance)
Type AB=CD – 1.618 AB=CD
D correction of BC at 2.0 – 3.618
D correction of XA at 0.886 – 1.13
Stop Loss > 1.27 (depending on XA scale)
Explanation of the elements of the alternative bat model:
Correction of point B of leg XA at 0.382
Correction of point C of leg AB at 0.382, 0.5, 0.618, 0.786, 0.886
Correction of point D of leg XA at 0.886, 1.13
Correction of point D of the page BC at 2, 2.24, 2.618, 3, 3.14, 3.618
Notes on alternate bat models:
Expect to test the potential reversal zone (PRZ) on the XA leg’s point D correction at at least 0.886, but these positions should contain 1.0.
Use the retracement of point D of the XA section at 1.27 as a benchmark for your stop loss, especially when 1.13 is appropriate.
The price action should reverse immediately after the crosspoint D retracement of the XA section at 1 (general retracement area).
Tolerance for point B correction of XA leg max +/-3% (0.382)
